Snapchat was introduced to users in 2011. The application, which was released for both Android and iOS in the same year, was deprived of iPad support for iOS users for 13 years. Finally, iPad support is offered for the application. Here are the details…
Snapchat to fully support iPad
With the newly released iOS update for Snapchat, iPad support has finally arrived. Accordingly, the app will now be able to run full screen on iPadOS. The Snapchat developer team stated that the app retains all of its previously known features but can now work on the big screen.
“Snapchat now offers native display support for iPad,” the Snapchat team said in an official statement. This means you’ll be able to use the iPad’s full screen and Snap in widescreen. You’ll also be able to see more of your friends in the second and fourth tabs in the app.”
In addition to all this good news, we can say that developers do not have enough time for iPad optimization. As a matter of fact, the application can only work in portrait mode on iPad. It is not possible to use Snapchat horizontally for now. In addition, various bugs and errors are also observed.
As you may remember, the app had incorporated many artificial intelligence-supported features earlier this year. In addition to AI support, support for iPad in the new period may greatly increase the user base.
